Never cheats

I have tried many backgammon apps. The problem I find with most of them is that the dice rolls are not as random and fair as they should be. This is the only iOS backgammon app I have found that doesnt have this problem, and thats huge. The online play works very well too. It may not be the prettiest board because its traditional, but it plays really well.

The dice roll on this one is awful....it ALWAYS favors the computer so it makes it really frustrating...sad because the game is well structured and smooth but the cheating dice roll kills it

Dice seem not to be as random as I would expect. Computer not a good an opponent as i would like. Otherwise pretty good

I love this app! The graphics are smooth, no glitches, no crashing, it works perfectly. The game has options for everything you might need. It has a comprehensive statistics tracker: simply put, its a very well thought out game. Ive tried other backgammon apps, but this is the best one for sure.

Very good app. The part of the program concerning the doubling cube has to be improved, sometime the computer propose, or accept, a double when he should not. Otherwise, one of the best game on the market.

dice still feel less than random at times. doubles are often thrown in multiples both for and against the cpu.

I dont know what happened but game is ridiculously slanted toward computer now. Absurd rolls make it no fun to play anymore. I did not mind getting beaten regularly, but now it is every game. Too bad...

constantly rolls exactly what it needs to hit me, come in when hes hit, or to bear off...its getting so i can actually PREDICT what the computer will roll...give me a break...UPDATE...still a cheater...i have set to go to random.org for the dice rolls and it tells me when its getting the roll from there...interesting though....I DONT HAVE AN INTERNET CONNECTION! now, how blatant is that????....many versions later....still unbelievable...i was bearing off, had him on the bar with only my 6 open...he rolled double sixes and then 4 more high doubles in a row and beat me...are u kidding????

Whats keeping it from 5 stars: questionable randomness of dice rolls, inability to continue receiving game requests after refusing one (you have to request a match again after rejecting someone), and no leader board for a players number rating.

Game now crashes upon opening

I have used this quite a bit and I do like it. It works smoothly, has a chat option that you can participate in, or turn off. The settings allow you to taylor the game to your liking in many ways. The one thing I really wish I could do is chose an player from a list of available opponents. My sister has this app but we can never play each other as the computer seems to choose random opponents for me. Otherwise a great place to get my BG fix.

Overall an okay program, have played it for the last year. I do notice it freezes often when playing online. Very frustrating to be in the home stretch and have the game freeze and ultimately timeout. No problems when playing the computer with freezing.

First rate BG app! Great online play.

This use to be the best backgammon app around. Now it is a waste of time constant disconnects lack of players. Time to try a different one. :(

Love the app; but could it not connect directly with FIBS, not through Game Centre?

best backgammon game that i have found.

Five out of six posts are covered, opponent tries to get back in, successful usually in about 3 rolls. Reverse is true and it takes about 6-7 rolls to get in.
